Blonde cattle are un-equalled for their ability to combine lean meat yield, muscle development, growth and feed conversion with ease of calving. They also produce a very lean carcass with no excess fat, leading to a more healthy eating experience. Their lean carcass and low fat content also lead to fewer pounds of feed eaten to produce a pound of beef. These attributes along with a finer bone structure give the Blonde carcass a high percentage of saleable meat. Cutability for cross bred Blonde cattle is above average and higher percentage Blondes will have cutabilties in the range of 70-73%.

Calves are moderate sized, fine-boned and lengthy at birth. They do not begin to muscle up until about 4 - 6 weeks of age, making them an ideal terminal cross.

These cattle are predominately cream coloured, varying from almost white to darker red with paler areas around the muzzle, eyes, inside of the legs and underline.
